Request for early examination of plant

Posted on: 21 August 2019

Should you require an examination of an item(s) of plant ahead of the scheduled due date, you should discuss this with your local Engineer Surveyor.

We will do our best to accommodate your preferred time and date. Please write to your Engineer Surveyor a minimum of 10 working days in advance of the proposed date of attendance. Acceptance and authorisation for a request for an early examination is dependent on your acceptance in writing of the Special Service quote and the Terms & Conditions.

Future examinations options

If your plant maintenance schedules do not align with the due dates of statutory examinations or a previously agreed contractual arrangement, you may wish to consider the options available to you and amend the contract period. Our Engineer Surveyors will also be able to advise you on your future compliance with applicable regulations. Reducing the contractual period may increase your Inspection Fee and should be requested in writing to Allianz Engineering, Construction & Power Existing Business team EngineeringMidTermAmendmentsTVM@allianz.co.uk. Please also speak with your local Engineer Surveyor who can assist with your requirements.

Early examination options

Subject to availability and agreeing an appointment, an early examination fee will be applicable. Once we have understood your requirements, and you ask for a quotation, this will be provided with a quotation from our Special Services team, along with the Terms & Conditions.

Early examination charges will apply in the following circumstances;
